At the tender age of 9, Aditya became the youngest music composer to enter the Limca Book of Records. After completing schooling in Mumbai Aditya studied music at the Tisch School at New York University. Aditya continued taking music learnings from his guru mentor Bollywood musician Ranjit Barot and learned tabla from Late Ustaad Allarakha Khan.
Stepping into the music industry, Aditya has worked on the background score of films like ‘Shaitaan’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, and ‘PM Narendra Modi’ assisting his guru Ranjit Barot. Moving forward, Aditya worked on Bollywood films like ‘Tashan’, ‘Simran’ and Marathi films like ‘Bucket List’, ‘Panghrun’, ‘Bonus’, and did string arrangements for upcoming films like ‘Wada’ and ‘De Dhakka 2’ with music producer Hitesh Modak. He also did a background score for a Punjabi film ‘Jind Meriye’.
Aditya has also produced and orchestrated for the film ‘Thackeray’, where he worked with the music composers Rohan-Rohan for a song ‘Saheb Tu Sarkaar Tu’ which was sung by Sukhwinder Singh. He produced and arranged a 75 piece Macedonian Symphony Orchestra, which happened for the first time in the industry where such proportions were created for a Hindi song and that was instrumental by a young musician scoring this larger-than-life number. He has also made arrangements for the prestigious Commonwealth games 2010 as well Hockey World Cup 2018.
Apart from that, Aditya has also worked with the maestros like Shankar Mahadevan, Salim Sulaiman, A.R. Rahman, Rahul Deshpande, Rishikesh Kamerkar, and many more. Adding to his portfolio, Aditya has also been a part of Vasantotsav 2019, IIFA 2020 and Harman Live Arena 2018-19 as a performer. He has also worked on a lot of big projects with A.R. Rahman like MTV Unplugged Season 6, and many more.
